What is “Coming out”

To acknowledge and express being an LGBTQ, or your sexual orientation or gender identity etc. Some “come out” to a limited set of people only, while others don’t mind who knows around them.
When there are children involved, people tend to be cautious about coming out.

What is “Coming out”

Beware of “Outing”

“Outing” is when information such as being LGBTQ, sexual orientation or gender identity has been exposed without consent.
Sexuality is highly personal information. Not only does it invade privacy, but can lead to isolation in schools and workplaces, and life threatening situations. Please be mindful of these topics.
